Ginger tea has kept us healthy for the past 4 years and counting! This easy to make immune booster keeps the cold and flu away as long as you take it at the first sign of symptoms. It’s also great for quelling nausea. Here is how you make it.

Tips for ginger tea prep:
My nutritionist mentioned a very helpful tip when dealing with ginger. You can actually freeze ginger and it keeps all it’s nutritional properties. When I buy my ginger I peel it and cut it into small pieces that are about an inch thick. Then I seal them in a freezer safe bag and pop them into the freezer. This way they are always ready when I need them. You can also grate the ginger if you want. I leave the ginger pieces in the container with the tea while it’s in the refrigerator. If you prefer your tea stronger or weaker, you can add more pieces of ginger or use a few less. I find 10-12 pieces work great!
You will need to use fresh lemon juice, and fresh or frozen ginger. Dried ginger will not have the same potency as it’s been so processed. Bottled lemon juice will still work, but having freshly squeezed lemon juice with the pulp does make it more effective.
In conclusion:
I do hope you give ginger tea a try, and let me know how it works for you!!!
